Requirements For Moleculer Scientist
1.Preferably a male (work requires something long hours in lab esp.
if running PCR)

2.Local candidate preferred in view of the remoteness of the area

3.Person must have at least a Post – graduate degree in Molecular
Biology

4.Experience in utilizing DNA Markers (e.g. SSR, Random Amplified
Markers or similar techniques)

5.Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision & over
long hours where necessary




6.Familiar with basic software for accession or molecular pedigree
analysis e.g. Popgene

7.Preferably has experience in designing primers for DNA analysis
e.g. Primer3

8.Familiar with extraction techniques for RNA/DNA nucleic acids
