Field Sales Manager

a) Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Science (Agronomy, Plant Diseases & Pest Control, Agricultultural Technology, Plant Protection)
b) GPA min 3.00, with min. 3 years experience in the sales of agrochemical products
c) Good command in written and spoken English
d) Applicant must demonstrate high degree of self accountability, customer focus, creativity, teamwork, and innovation.
e) Building and maintaining positive account relationships is a key component of success in the sales role, so strong interpersonal skills are critical.
Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for selling assigned products within assigned territory consistent with district priorities.
2) Build Business plans with retail account to effectively position products and increase sales.
3) Prepare accounts for effective introduction of new products to maximize sales.
4) Manage DAS relationship with key distributors and customers
5) Expected to demonstrate a good technical knowledge of products, markets and competitive situations.
6) Develop performance plans and review with the commercial leader as needed.
7) Analyze market situations, define and communicate market trends and present market opportunities.

Background:
We're seeking a highly potential with a background in Agronomy or
Plant Protection to join DAS's Commercial Development Program for
2008, in Indonesia.
The Role:
Recognised as one of the best in the industry, DAS's CDP is a
comprehensive 12-month program consisting of:
1) Extensive training – develop capabilities and technical knowledge
of markets and applications
2) Sales and marketing project assignments exploring growth
opportunities for DAS.
3) Customer visits with an experienced Sales staff
4) Networking with experienced Dow colleagues and building mentoring
relationship
Upon successful completion of this 12-month program you will
transition into an Account Manager role for one of Dow's global
businesses.
Requirements:
a) Bachelor or Masters Degree in Agronomy or Plant Protection.
